Whats happening when Alex sells a car...aehm sold his car!!!!!

Hey guys,
yes correct, I finally sold my van. After that crazy thing that has happened to me in Auckland, I drove up to Paihia, Bay of Islands. I felt so relieved that this kind of nightmare was finally over! It's so good to be back in the Bay of Islands, at my second home and with my second family.
However, I've been putting Mazda Bongo back on trademe for an other week. I didn't really expected much response, but somebody taught me a better way...
Nearly every day I got phone calls from Auckland region from people which where interested in my van.
But unfortunately I drove with the van to Paihia and nobody really wanted to drive up here. And I didn't really wanted to drive to Auckland just to let people look at the car without buying it and I would waste a lot of diesel and time!
So anyway, the auction at trademe ended last Friday the 18th of May. And surprisingly everything went pretty well!!! I finally sold the car for NZ$1600 to a guy form Papakura, just south of Auckland.
I went to AKL the next day in the early morning on back on a bus to Paihia the same day in the afternoon.
When I arrived at the house of that bloke, he gave me the money in cash and drove me form Papakura to Auckland Sky City where my bus back to Paihia left. While he was driving, I prayed all the time that the van wont brake down!
It didn't so he had the van and I the money, I'm happy and sad...but finally Bongo got a new and hopefully trustworthy owner!

Eine liebevolle Umarmung der meisten Spieler konnte leider auch nicht mehr das Spiel zu gunsten der Warriors entscheiden...

Ab in die Ecke und schaemt euch...die Cheerleader wurden als Strafe fuer ihren schlechten Auftritt in allen vier Ecken des Spielfeldes verb(r)annt.

Das sind noch echte Maenner, bei denen nicht gleich geweint wird, wenn einer hinfaellt. Bei Rugby wird aufgestanden und weitergespielt!!! Und friedlich ist das Spiel auch. Keine Hooligans etc.

So ihr Fussballer, so sieht ein anstaendiges Tor in Neuseeland, Australien, Frankreich, Sued Afrika, UK, etc. aus.

Die Vodafone Cheerleader des Vodafone Warriors Rugby Teams...waren alles die Spielerfrauen hehe...oder die Exfrauen so schlecht wie die waren ;)...

Warum muss eigentlich jedes bekannte Sportteam irgendeinen armen Menschen dazu erniedrigen, dessen Maskotchen zu sein? Wo sind die Menschenrechte, wenn man sie wirklich braucht?

Das Bild koennte doch fast als Desktophintergrund bei Windows diehnen...oder etwa nicht ;)

Was passiert, wenn ich versuche ein Auto zu verkaufen?

Hallo ihrs,
eigentlich versuche ich nicht irgendein Auto zu verkaufen, sonder meinen/unseren heiss geliebten Mazda Bongo. Wie die meisten von euch sicherlich wissen, habe ich Bongo auf der Auktionsliste von Trademe (Neuseelaendisches ebay) geparkt.
Darueber habe ich ein paar Interessenten gefunden. Unter anderem einer, der mir $1200 geboten hat. Ich habe ihm gesagt, dass ich ersteinmal bis zum Auktionsende warte und mich dann wieder melde.
Die Auktion hat bei $1000 gestoppt (hab Limit gesetzt, dass ich es erst bei $2000 verkaufen muss), also habe ich den Typen mit den $1.2 angerufen. Der wollte Bongo jetzt aber ploetzlich nur noch fuer $1000 kaufen. Jedenfalls bin ich zu ihm hingefahren und er hat sich das Auto gruendlich angeguckt. Sein Angebot ist dann ploetzlich auf $600 gefallen. Naja, da habe aus lauter verzweiflung die $600 cash genommen und war traurig! (den andere mit den $1000 konnte ich nicht erreichen...)
Als wir dann die zwei Papiere zum Wechseln des Besitzers ausfuellen wollte, da hat er nur gemeint...naja hier kann ich nicht meinen richtigen Namen reinschreiben, dort nicht die richtige Adresse, etc....Spaeter hat er noch gemeint, dass er ueber $10.000 Schulden bei Bank, Staat oder was auch immer hat.
Nach dem ganzen Rumgeeire, war ich mir ueberhaupt nicht mehr sicher ob das alles so eine gute Idee ist, Bongo an den Typen zu verkaufen.
Also habe ich gesagt, dass ich mal schnell fuer 15min telefonieren muesse und gleich wieder zurueck komme.
Ich hab mit einigen Leuten ueber die ganze Sache gesprochen (Hannah, meine mum, etc.) was sie darueber denken.
Ich selbst hab mir dann die Ausrede ueberlegt, wie ich ihm $600 zurueck gebe und mein Auto wiederbekomme.
Also bin ich nach ca. 15min wieder zu ihm zurueck, habe ihm das Geld wiedergegeben und gesagt, dass ich auch noch meine emails gecheckt habe und dort ein Angebot auf mein Auto fuer $2000 bekommen habe.
Tut mir leid fuer den geplatzten Deal, aber so siehts aus...und bin so schnell wie ich konnte von diesem Ort verschwunden.
Zwischen der Zeit, als er mir das Geld gegeben hat und wir den Papierkram machen wollten, hat er mir sein Haus gezeigt.
Dieses Gebauede hatte mehr Schlafzimmer als Menschen, die darin wohnen koennten. Als er mir noch gesagt hat, dass die Freundin seines Vaters "Massagen" gibt *whatever* und mir eine Maoribraut angeboten wurde, habe ich mich noch unwohler gefuehlt.
Das ganze war meiner Meinung nach ein versteckter Puff!!!
Jetzt bin ich wieder zurueck in Paihia mit Bongo und versuche ihn von hier aus zu verkaufen. Drueckt mir die Daumen...bitte!!!

P.S.: Danke fuer die Hilfe in Form von Gespreachen am Telefon und diversen Aufmuterungen! Das hat echt gut getan.

actually, not just any car, it's my lovely little Mazda Bongo ;(. As the most of you probably already know, I've put Bongo on an auction at trademe.
I had a few people responding on that. There was one guy from Auckland to buy the car for $1200. At first I said no, but if I don't find anybody else who is willing to give more money, I would sell it to him.
When the auction was finished, it sopped at $1000, but anyway I still had the offer of that other guy. So I called him the same day, trademe finished with my auction.
He told me that he still wants to buy the car but for just $1000. I said alright, because I was or still am, a little bit desperate to sell the van. Anyway, when I met him, he had a good look at the car and told me then his offer of $600! At first I was shocked, but then I thought, at least the car is gone, even though Hannah and me have big feelings for that car ;).
So that guy gave me the six hundred bucks in cash and I felt sad about that...
I wanted to start the whole paperwork for changing the ownership as soon as possible, just to leave. There where two papers to fill out and that asshole (excuse my language) told me, he can't put in his real name or real address, because he still owns to the gouverment, bank or whatever still a hell lot of money. I already had a bad feeling, but when he started with that discussion I wasn't sure at all.
So I told him that I have to go away to check my emails. 15min later I came back and told him that I have a email with a offer of $2000 to buy my car. That offer is from a guy from Bombay (just south of AKL) who wants to meet me as soon as possible. I gave him back his $600 and left the area as quick as I could.
Between the time he gave me the $600 cash and doing the ownership thing, he showed me around at his house. Apparently it was a kind of office building with more bedrooms than actual people which were living there. He told me as well that the girlfriend of his dad is doing massages...whatever...it looked more like a place for the oldest business of the world!!! I felt so relieved, but exhausted, stressed out, nervous, sad, happy, afraid, etc. at the same time when I finally left that horrible place.
Now I'm back in the Bay of Islands with my car and try to sell it here. Thank you for the help of the people I called the same night, just to tell what has happened, who gave me advices and where just there!!!
